Join Us in Acknowledging #WorldMSDay

May 30th is World Multiple Sclerosis (MS) Day, annually marked by the MS International Federation (MSIF) to raise awareness of MS and support people and their families living with it.

MS is a chronic autoimmune disease of the central nervous system (brain and spinal cord) causing a range of debilitating symptoms that differ from one person to another, such as problems with balance, vision and muscle control, impaired memory, and fatigue. Canada has one of the highest rates of MS in the world, with ~90,000 Canadians currently living with it and 12 more diagnosed each day.

Although there is no cure for MS, timely management and treatments may help modify the disease course. Hence, the global #MSConnections campaign for #WorldMSDay 2020-2023 is all about building community connection, self-connection and connections to quality care.

MEDUCOM Health Inc. invites you to join us in showing your support for these efforts with the MS Heart, inspired by the sign language symbol for the word ‘together’, as a symbol of solidarity with everyone affected by MS.
