Makeda leverages strong communication and relationship-building skills, along with a proactive and organized approach, to lead projects toward meaningful and impactful outcomes. Passionate and driven, she enjoys taking on complex projects, finding creative solutions, and working collaboratively to bring ideas from concept to execution. Holding a Master of Biotechnology from the University of Guelph and a BSc (Hons) from Toronto Metropolitan University, she combines her scientific background with hands-on experience to navigate diverse project types with confidence.

Outside of work, Makeda enjoys reading, taking on DIY projects, and spending as much time as possible outdoors with her dog.
