Moving Forward, Giving Back

Spring has finally sprung, and what better way to enjoy the weather than by giving back to the community? This week, MEDUCOM pitched in to help Michael House, a local non-profit providing shelter and support to pregnant and parenting single mothers in Guelph. Be it fixing flower beds, washing windows or organizing the shed, no task was too small to lend a hand for those in need.

COVID-19 did not affect everyone equally, and while many of us have been able to move past the pandemic, the impact is still felt by some in our community. Unemployment reached its peak in 2020, resulting in lasting effects on housing and job security. It is important to recognize opportunities to volunteer and help those in need, and MEDUCOM will always strive to support our community!

Looking forward to our next volunteering excursion!
