Healthy Habits for Wellness in the Workplace


June was Professional Wellness Month! Although wellness activities may not be top of mind during busy periods, incorporating healthy habits throughout the workday is easier than you might think. Some of our team’s daily wellness activities included:

  • Going for a quick walk at lunch or biking to work

  • Meditation, yoga or stretching

  • Eating a healthy lunch and snacks

  • Drinking plenty of water

Keep in mind, employee wellness isn’t limited to the workplace. Studies have shown engaging in self-care activities outside of work promotes increased productivity, creativity and collaboration at work. Taking advantage of vacation time is a great opportunity to unplug and reconnect with friends and family, and also provides an opportunity to recharge your mind and body. To make the most of your time in and out of the office, be sure to engage in a balanced mix of activities that are both relaxing and stimulating.
