#AllinRed for the 30th annual World Hemophilia Day

World Hemophilia Day is an international awareness day for hemophilia and other bleeding disorders, such as von Willebrand disease. Approximately 300 000 Canadians carry an inherited bleeding disorder gene and at least 30 000 Canadians have symptoms severe enough to require medical care. It is estimated that two-thirds of Canadians living with a bleeding disorder have not yet been diagnosed.

For 30 years, the entire bleeding disorders community has been coming together to celebrate the continuous advances in treatment while raising awareness of these conditions among the general public. The mission for this year’s celebration was to GET+INVOLVED virtually and all of us at MEDUCOM wanted to show our support by wearing red for the #AllinRed campaign!
