As summer drew to a close, the MEDUCOM team challenged themselves to be more active by participating in the 14-day Guelph FHT to Move Challenge.
Whether this meant exercising more often and logging their time into the online activity tracker or completing photo and video challenges for bonus points, everyone played their part and contributed to our team’s final score. The energy in the office was contagious.
Over the past couple of weeks, we collectively exercised for over 200 hours and earned 2600 bonus points. Despite being in the midst of our busy season, the MEDUCOM team pulled together to beat 19 other contestants, finishing in fourth place.
With work getting more hectic, this challenge served as an excellent stress reliever. For me, personally, these past two weeks highlighted the importance of staying fit. After all, as the saying goes, a healthy body leads to a healthy mind—and keeping our minds healthy enables us to continue producing work of the highest quality.
