Running for a Good Cause

On Sunday, June 25th, the MEDUCOM team joined dozens of Guelphites in the 5th annual Big Little Run, to support the local Big Brothers Big Sisters youth mentoring organization. Participants had the opportunity to run a 5K or 10K through the beautiful Guelph Lake Conservation Area.

MEDUCOM began contributing to this fundraising event last year when volunteer Nicola Lloyd, an Account Director at MEDUCOM, encouraged her coworkers to participate. We love the idea of being active with friends and family while supporting local youth and have made it an annual event.

This year, our very own Rebecca Rumney placed 3rd among adult women in the 5K and our furry friend, Dory (alongside dog owner Cristi Orth), placed 2nd among the “four legged friends.”

The MEDUCOM team is already looking forward to participating in the Big Little Run again in 2018. How do you get involved in your community?
