Karim received his BSc from the University of Guelph specializing in Neuroscience. He was involved in multiple research projects focused on the development of Alzheimer’s Disease in animal models at both the Douglas Mental Institute in Montreal and the Ontario Veterinary College in Guelph. This led him to pursue his MSc in Neurobiology, receiving awards for presentations at multiple national and international conferences. His love for scientific communication led him to a position at MEDUCOM where he employs his academic expertise to impact medical research.

 

Outside of work, Karim is a huge soccer fan, but you’ll also find him cheering for the Raptors and Canadiens. He also enjoys learning new languages, travelling, and trying out new cuisines.
