FMOQ – the gateway to the general practitioner in Québec

The Fédération des médecins omnipraticiens du Québec (FMOQ) is a union representing general practitioners in Quebec. The FMOQ provides many services on behalf of more than 8000 members, including:

  •  validation and certification of continuing medical education (CME) programs
  • schedules for upcoming education programs
  • a member newsletter dealing with news and issues in family medicine

The FMOQ is a dynamic and important organisation pertinent to practicing Quebec-based family physicians. MEDUCOM often works with the FMOQ to develop innovative CME programs and validate them by using FMOQ’s “TurnKey” accreditation process.

Keeping client needs top of mind means acknowledging what physicians want and need – both nationally and provincially. When the demand for FMOQ-accredited CME courses grew louder, MEDUCOM quickly responded with strategic recommendations and insight that allowed us to help our clients roll out highly relevant CMEs across Quebec. The feedback from these CMEs has been overwhelmingly positive across the board, and MEDUCOM is proud to play a part in helping our clients offer a wealth of high-quality educational options to physicians.
